Some oils that you need to know

Argan Oil is Moroccan oil that is pretty awesome for damaged hair its rich in vitamins B, Vitamin E, and other essential fats that help coat the hair to protect it and repair damage and tames frizz.

Coconut oil is one of my favourite oils to be honest because it is so versatile, Not only does it repair damaged hair but also helps with pesky dandruff it helps reduce breakage and it also cleanses your hair shafts from product build up.
Plus its great as a makeup remover. I could go on and on about its benefits. pertaining a dry scalp.

Apricot Oil is not very available in Zambia but trust me its gaining traction. The oil is derived from the  kernel and has Vitamins A and E. It can be used to seal ends because it prevents them from splitting plus it helps with dandruff.

Avocado oil is a great skin moisturizer with awesome anti-aging properties, it evens out your skin tone and is great for your collagen levels.

Its large amounts of vitamins especially Vitamin E and nutrients penetrate hair shafts and increase hair growth when used regularly.

I have never actually flax seed oil but I know some people who swear by it according to allwomenstalk.com;  “ it’s actually a wonderful beauty oil to apply topically. Flax oil can be used as a hair mask, facial cleanser, anti-wrinkle aid, and even as a cuticle treatment. The omega 3 fats in flax oil help to repair damage, improve hair strength, and enhance overall shine.”

Olive Oil is also my favourite oil though you have to mix it with some water. It is high in monounsaturated fats and can be used on your body, your hair and your nails as it is highly rich in Vitamin e.

It enhances shine, reduces breakage helps you manage your hair and you can use it as a leave in.
Even though I don’t use it because it wears my hair down because its heavy Jamaican Black Castor Oil (JBCO) is a great oil especially if your hair is breaking or your hairline is receding.

It makes your hair soft , it removes toxins  that may hamper your hair growth and it’s great to use in Winter.

Grapeseed Oil is fast becoming my staple because it is light and withstands heat plus it vavavooms my hair really quick. It also helps with acne  prone and oily skin  and it can dab as a cleanser.

Amla oil is great at preventing hair loss and dry scalps.

Jojoba oil is quite costly but it is the one oil which closely resembles our natural sebum in the hair, it is great as a sealant and helps fight dry flaky scalps as well as restoring your PH.

Tea tree oil is applied to the skin (used topically) for infections such as acne, fungal infections of the nail (onychomycosis), lice, scabies, athlete's foot (tinea pedis), and ringworm, treats areas of ingrown hairs or infected follicles caused by shaving.

Curly nicki says it helps with your scalp and ridding of dandruff and cradle cap; “its an effective solvent for sebum and other dirt or oily buildup on the scalp and hair can be used to help provide a clear, clean surface that can absorb moisture and conditioning products more readily. Additionally, scalp massage with tea tree oil can help stimulate blood flow and reduce inflammation in the follicular cells, which may help enhance hair growth.”

Lastly my trusted Rosemary Oil which if you massage regularly on your scalp helps stimulate  hair growth.

It also helps with acne, cellulite, dandruff , (the tea  helps with bad breath) it’s also an insect repellent so banish those mosquitoes with it.
